CARE

Each pair of ALTA shoes is the result of the work of more than 20 artisans, who infuse them with a part of their heritage and passion. Every stitch, every cut and every detail reflects the commitment of expert hands who work painstakingly to create pieces of art that come to life with every step. Behind each piece there are stories of perseverance, tradition and love for the craft. You carry with you a piece of the soul of those who shaped them with so much care and dedication.

Here are some tips on how to care for your shoes so that you can preserve them and keep them in good condition:

  • Keep in mind that shoes made of leather may have grains and marks, which are natural attributes of the material.
  • They should not be cleaned with any liquid containing alcohol or solvent or drop perfume, gel, bleach, oils, or aerosols.
  • To clean, remove the dust with a clean white cotton cloth, or with a slightly damp cloth. You can apply a specialized colorless or leather-matched protective cream.
  • For cleaning you should not use solvents such as thinner, gasoline, acetone, Varsol, among others, nor should you use detergents, bleaches or washing machines.
  • Shoes made of leather should not be washed or submerged in water.
  • Shoes made of natural fiber can be cleaned with neutral soap and rubbed with a soft cloth, rinsed well and left to dry naturally. Ovens or heat sources should not be used to dry.
